Dating to about 1850 is this Church OFFERTORY/COLLECTION box made of Copper with turned mahogany handle.

The word BETHEL is engraved on the receptacle which is Hebrew for House of EL (House of God). Of unusual shape and form and quite a rare piece of Antique Church related Metal ware.
