Forged Iron Trivet
A very Good 18th Century Primative Forged Iron Trivet with nice handle terminal detail.
Iron trivets such as this would have been placed directly in the ashes of an open fire so a cooking pot could be placed on it.
A super piece of early domestic cookware.
