18th Century, about 1770 (there is a date on the inside of the lid stating 1724).
History:
This most attractive 'navetie' shaped snuff box is very much in the neo-classic taste in style and design. The sunburst monogramed centre with possible gold overlay, with scalloped edge and bright decoration. Very unusual example!
